Easy and fast desserts II: Caramel flan

Today we have our second desserts easy and fast, a caramel flan recipe. And why I say it is easy and fast, very simple. Fast because in 5 minutes we can have the flan in the molds, waiting for the oven to preheat to bake them. And easy, because you just have to mix, heat and bake.


  • 1 liter of milk, 7 medium eggs, 150 g of sugar, 1 cinnamon stick and 1 lemon peel.
  • For sugar, 100 g of sugar, 1 tablespoon of water and a few drops of lemon.

How to make caramel flan

In a saucepan we put the milk with the cinnamon and vanilla. If we want vanilla custards, we will put the vanilla instead of cinnamon. We boil.

On the other hand we mix the eggs with the sugar. We will add the milk that will have boiled little by little, strain and let cool.

On the other hand we make candy, we just have to mix the ingredients and cook it in a pan until it has a golden color. We put in some molds and add the flan mixture.

We bake at water bath at 170 ºC for about 35 or 40 minutes. If we see that they take color from above, we can cover them with aluminum foil.

A trick to see if the caramel flan recipe It is to try with a stick. We puncture and if we take it dry it is that they are made to perfection. Take out, let cool in the fridge and eat.
