  • 1 teaspoon choricero pepper pulp
  • Sweet pepper 1 teaspoon
  • Chard 1 bunch
  • 250 g pump rice
  • Vegetable broth triple that of rice, by volume
  • Salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Large potato 1

Chop the garlic clove and onion finely. Heat a little oil in a large pan or casserole dish and simmer over low heat. Meanwhile, we peel and cut the potato into dice. We withdraw the chard penca, which we keep for another elaboration, wash and chop.

Add the potato to the pan, season and sauté a couple of minutes before incorporating the tomato sauce, the choricero pepper pulp and the paprika. Remove and add the chopped chard and rice. Mix well and we saute a couple more minutes.

Finally we add the broth, season again (if it is broth without salt), raise the heat to the maximum and bring to a boil. Cook over high heat for the first two minutes, then lower over medium heat and cook 13 more minutes, stirring every two to three minutes. We left stand five minutes before serving.
